PANDEMIC SAFETY MEASURES

The City of Cleburne has approved this event based on the following safety measures. We are grateful for the opportunity to hold our event safely, and request the kind cooperation of all Walk for Life participants.

Participants will be strongly encouraged to pre-register online before September 26 and to come to Cleburne Pregnancy Center (100 s. Main St., Cleburne) to turn in any pledges and pick up t-shirts and prizes. This will eliminate the need to stand in line at the park Saturday morning. The Center will receive participants at the office Monday to Thursday, 9/21-9/24 from 10:00a.m. to 5:00p.m. and on Friday, 9/25, from 8:00a.m. to 6:00p.m. Participants must be pre-registered before the Walk and present at the time of the drawings in order to be eligible for door prizes.

Face coverings are required at the event before and after walking, where social distancing cannot be maintained. Hand sanitizer and face masks will be provided at the event site for all who need them. Participants will be encouraged to maintain social distance throughout the event. The Walk will proceed with staggered start times so that the starting line will not be unnecessarily congested. We thank you in advance for responding kindly to on-site announcements and individual requests by volunteers to adhere to these requirements.
